Dotty Fish baby shoes are made from genuine leather that is tested to ensure it is safe for young children. We work with Eurofins / BLC, a UK based leather testing facility to ensure we meet REACH Annex XVII standards. Our leather baby shoes should never be put in the washing machine! It is best to spot clean them with a damp sponge or cloth.

Dotty Fish summer sandals are designed to be comfortable and not to restrict infants foot growth and development. They have a wide toe area which allows little feet to spread out when they stand up. Please refer to the size chart in the product images to ensure you get the right size for your little one. These sandals include at least 1cm room for growth so little toes aren't scrunched up.

We know that getting the right size is important and although our sizes are in months and years babies don't come in one size fits all. To help we have created a printable size guide that your child can stand on which will tell you exactly which size Dotty Fish shoes to choose.

Simply follow these 4 steps to get the most accurate size.

1. Print out the PDF size guide which can be found on Amazon under our product description as 'Product Guides and Documents'
2. Stand your child barefoot on the chart. Your child's heel must be on the dotted line at the bottom of the chart. If your little one isn't standing yet simply put the printed sheet on a hard book and place your child's heel on the dotted line.
3. Measure both feet, it is normal to have one foot slightly larger than the other. You will need to measure to the top of the big toe and use the largest size foot measurement.
4. Choose the size you are shown on our guide for the most accurate fit. You don't need to account for room for growth. Dotty Fish shoes have 1cm wiggle room built in.
